Free Wheeling

Back when I worked in construction, some days on site would absolutely drain me. One evening, after a grueling meeting with the foreman, I noticed the young boys whose job was fetching water – they were taking turns giving each other rides in a wheelbarrow. End of a brutal day, yet they just wanted a little fun. Their carefree disposition stayed with me. This piece is a celebration of joy that refuses to be crushed by labor.
